This is the space where we remember those members who have cracked up in the service of the club, or have been left, tragically, and quite accidentally, on a rapidly submerging car park in the far north of the Netherlands, or have simply been killed in the nets by Mike (in a non-fatal sort of way).
Bahroos, Diraj
Torn between the glory of representing HCC and a perfectly understandable desire to live in a civilized country, is currently flying back and forth on Air India. Expected to open the batting in late July.
Crisp, Barry
Invented the iPot, a transluescent bluewire loo (no need to leave the field of play) with built-in mpeg capacity and multi-region DVD player. Currently assistant to Steve Jobs on his new "stump multi-media centre" concept.
Marsh, Jamie
Failed to gain residence after poor performance in Dutch cultural test. Apparently Gouda is edible (and not foot wear) and the highest point in the Netherlands is not a garden shed near Eindhoven (it's a bus stop in Vaals).
Wadsworth, Chris
Perished just backward of square, slain by the square leg umpire (who he in turn slew), whilst arguing about an LBW decision.
Macklin, Miles
MIA, Eindhoven. Last seen nude sunbathing in the outfield.
Ahmad, Irfan
Froze to death, trapped under the heavy roller in a snowdrift, Calgary, Canada.
Stephens, Scott
Went insane after the loss of the Ashes. Last seen officiating at the First Church of Ricky Ponting, the Martyr, Walamaloo.
Chauhan, Manik
Retired exhausted. Currently studying bodybuilding and politics at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Institute for Strategic Biceps.
Lunt, Darroch
Died of alcohol poisoning, 318 not out.
White, Jim
POW. Captured, with all hands, by the Taliban, while touring Afghanistan with an RAF select XI.
Madrigal, Mabel
Transfered to FC Bayern Muenchen CC for an undisclosed sum
Saunder, Bernhard
Believed to be a Lederhosen tester, deep in the heart of Bavaria
Point, Backward
Forum user of obscure origin and, indeed, gender. Threw themselves over Niagra Falls on discovering that there is a big difference between "In memorium" and "In memorandum"
